Yes!!! But then again, I think I'm certifiably crazy when it comes to that stuff.
I LOVE Black Friday! When I was a kid I spent the night at a friend's house on Thanksgiving and we'd pile up in their van and head out to King of Prussia on Black Friday. It's stuck with me
ever since. I worked 6 Black Fridays in my mall in a row during high school and college. I LOVE it. I love the spirit, the music, the people, I just love everything about it. It's the epitome
of the holiday season to me. And for me, it's the beginning of Christmas. My favorite time of year is from Black Friday to Christmas night.
Anyhow, the boy and I have done it the last 3 years, but we might have to skip it this year due to travel concerns. It makes me infinitely sad
All the deals are unbelievable- you just have to pick the store you want the most stuff from to go to first because everything goes really fast. We almost always start at Best Buy for the
wicked electronics and DVD prices.
A TRU/BRU was built in our 'hood about 6 mos. ago. If I get the gumption I may drive part way and then walk the rest. This way I don't deal with parking but if I find something big I have the
car.
I never shoped on black Friday before I met Shane. We did it the past two years in row but I am not sure that we will get up early this year. If we see something that we can't live without we
might get out early if not we will wait until laster in the day.
I just saw on the TGIFblackfriday site that they have soem really good toy discounts at walmart, but I really really don't know if I could deal with that crowd!
I ventured out on Black Friday back in November of 2000. BIG MISTAKE. My god the crowds. Plus I had just had Baby Burns the week before and got stuck in a checkout line at Target that wrapped
all the way around the card aisle and it was not moving. My breasts were killing me, but Burns was at home and I couldn't breastfeed him right then. I finally had to put everything down and
go home to feed my baby. Interestingly enough I haven't really wanted to try Black Friday shopping again.
Last year, Emo and I were in CO and my mom was all excited about this laptop that Best Buy was gonna have for wicked cheap. So we had all stayed up chatting until really late drinking wine
and stuff and I was like- Mom, I'm gonna get you that laptop! So we ventured out into the CO snow at like 2AM figuring NO ONE would be there. Oh man, we were so wrong. The store didn't open
until 5 so we stood 3 hours in the cold. Normally we'll just go out at 4:30 or so and get the deals in the store, but this was for the big ticket items. The laptops were gone by the time we
got there, but we figured what's the point of driving 20 minutes back and home and then turning around 30 minutes later. Being from Cali we were so ill equipped for the cold and were
absolutely freezing. By the time we made it into the store we were about dead. Apparently we can no longer do overnighters like we did in college. We only got a few DVDs or so and were so
dead on our feet that we had to go back home at like 7AM. I remember thinking I was afraid I was going to fall asleep at the wheel driving back home. I won't be making that mistake again this
year!
If stores had those deals online, I'd totally get up in the middle of the night and shop in my underwear. I may not even get out of bed. I might just roll over to the laptop and add stuff to
my car in a drooly twilight.
Working retail during BF kicked my a&&.. it was I N S A N E!!! The lines wrapped around the entire store and kept going out the door and down the strip mall
I think the "sales" are teasers and the store usually only has a few of what they advertise. A friend of mine at Fry's said they only had 2 of the computers they advertised on their "black
friday sale" so there was hundreds of people in line for something they only had 2 of. Misleading advertising?
Mervyn's really ticked me off. I went in this week thinking I'd buy a pot to use to cook Thanksgiving with only to see that they blacked out the price (which you could still read) and then
stuck a sticker on it marking it UP $20 more than the original price! I left Mervyns and bought the same pot at Target for a reasonable price.
We use black friday to clean before we start decorating for Christmas. We usually have everything up before the first week of December. We buy almost all our gifts during the year so we are
done before November.
I do a lot of online shopping before noon and get a lot of the same deals.
I might venture out this year, but I say that every year and choose sleep before sales!
1No freakin' way. I do all of my shopping online.
2Yep me too - online. I can't ever see myself waiting in line at the ass crack of dawn to save a few bucks.
3Nope. This year I work it.

5I would love to go to Toys R Us because apparently toy stores have some really unbelievable deals, but I still am not sold on the idea.

8No
9Not if I can help it. This year the only store within 4 hours will be a K Mart, so not a chance.
10Nope.
11Not unless my MIL makes me!
12CMS - Lovin' the avi!! Definitely not out.. I would much rather shop online. I can get free shipping most places now, too.
13Ha ha, thanks. I'm feeling festive.

16He11 to the NO! I didn't know you could get the deals online?
Ohmanohmanohman
17Last year my mom and I went to the outlet mall at midnight. We stupidly didn't think anyone would be there. NEVER AGAIN!
18My aunt and I make it our yearly outing! 5am we're out the door.

20I stay away. Far away. Far, far, far, far, far, far, far away.
Aud, much respect to you for even attempting such a week after childbirth!
21I know Linz. WHAT the hell was I thinking? I must have had looney fever or something.
22Sleep deprivation?
23It might have been more like 10 days. I am too lazy to look what day Black Friday fell on back in 2000. He was born on the 15th.

26I think they do have some of the deals online...I know Amazon does a thing
27I hate how they have only **1**/store! That's crap. I also think it's crazy (but ingenious) how people sell their spots in line.
28No way. I shop mostly online anyway.
29Out the door at 5am
