I am so disgusted that they are actually making another one. I thought that the first movie was SO disappointing and it kind of cheapened the entire series for me.
Plus, what could they possibly do now? Break Carrie and Big up AGAIN? And have them reunite AGAIN? And watch Samantha be a slutty cougar AGAIN? And so on and so on and so on...
well im a SATC junkie so ill watch no matter what. but that being said they are getting a little long in the tooth already. i mean carrie cant still be dressing like a 19 year old runnin
around manhattan..
Ugh. I LOVED the series more than anything, but I wasn't really excited to see the movie. I did, anyway, because it was SATC-related, so I felt obligated, but I thought it was a letdown. They
really should have just left the series to stand on its own. Beginning to end, it was perfection. The more they try to milk this, the worse it's going to get.
Well, I loved the movie but not like I loved the tv show, (I hated Jennifer Hudson in it too). I am not sure there are really interesting storylines that these women can take and still
maintain their characters. I guess Carrie and Big could have kids, but that doesn't seem right. It seems like it will lose some important aspect of the tv show.
i'm not done with the characters so i'm looking forward to a movie. we all go on in life so there's more to their stories too, right? i think they should throw some surprises in there, just
like real life does. nothing REALLY bad has really happened to any of them except for samatha getting cancer. surely real life will hit the others, you know?
I'm a tad annoyed. I was entertained by the first one & there were some really great moments, but I was mad that she took back Big. Anyway, I love the girls so much I will go see the
sequel.
I love it! I loved the first flick and I am sure I'll enjoy the next as well. Don't get me wrong, I loved the show, but it's over. I love the fashion and the way New York is used so if they
want to keep on cranking these flicks out, I'll keep watching them. But before long, they'll have to bring in a new cast and that'd be fine by me too.
I loved the show and the movie. The movie did feel like it was missing something, but I can't put my finger on it. I'm sure I'll watch the next movie...and the next. A lot of the time (not
just with this but other things and circumstances) I just like everything all prettily wrapped up with a happy ending...so I can remember it that way. So I hope they don't kill any good
memories for me.
I don't care either way but I thought the movie was kinda dumb. I thought some alien took over Carrie's mind because she was acting so un-carrie. That said, I will probably go see it.
Of course I'll go see it, but I probably won't be excited like I was before going to see the first one. I was a bit disappointed. It didn't suck as much as most movies I've seen in 2008
though. I thought it was a bad year.
I know what you mean, Finn. I was SO excited to see the first one! And was surprised that I didn't love it love it love it.
But, that was such an awesome night for me because I got to meet super cool popples!
I decided that there is really no decent storylines they can do without losing the essence of the characters... Carrie having a baby? NO. Miranda and Steve divorcing? Whoops they already did
that :oy. Samantha sleeping with random men when she is 55? Gross. (I hope they bring back Smith Jarod). Charlotte having a baby? Done.
Yea! I'm excited. There was no plot to the first one so I'm not expecting anything for the second one. I just watch it for the fashion and the phantasmagoria of colors and glamour and
dramarama. Woot.
I loved the show and I really like the movie. I do think they tied up all the loose ends in the movie so I am not sure about a second one. I will definitely go see it though.
Wow.. I am just so over this sh*t! I used to love the show soooo much but the movie.. oh that freakin movie was horrible. H O R R I B L E! Embarrassing, actually.. They should just let it die
already!!!

3Ditto what you said Whip. I didn't understand why they made the first film to be honest.

6I thought the movie was fun but lacked something the show had.
7I'm sure I'll see the next one, but I'm also not sure what they could possibly do.

11I just hope they do it right. I really don't want Carrie and Big to breakup again and Steve better not cheat on Miranda again.
I liked most of the first one but it was missing something that the show had. Regardless, I'm sure I'll see it but I know it won't beat the show.

I say its time to give it up!

17If Smith is back I'll be happy.

21I'm afraid I absolutely hated the movie, guess I won't feel better about the new one. :/
