Holiday Reese's with more PB?! I have to try those.
I say ''ree-sis'' and that's a tough one for me to pronounce with my ugly accent. French speakers normally say ''reez''.
If I'm referring to the delicious peanut butter cups, I say, "Ree-sis," but if I'm talking about the little M&M-type candies, I call them "Ree-sees Pee-sees".
I say Ree-sis. I love them, and now I really want some. I've been seriously hormonal lately and can't seem to get enough chocolate in my system. I liked to open up a bunch of the miniature
ones, line them all up, and then enjoy eating them...without having to be unwrapping as I eat.
Yeah they are bigger. They make them in the shape of Christmas Tree at Christmas, Easter Eggs at Easter and Pumpkins at Halloween. The Egg ones are the best.
I live about 20 minutes outside of Hershey, PA and the regional dialect say "Reesis" for both. But then a lot of people say Warsher (there's no "R" in washer!), and tons of other bad grammar
in our area. If it has "ee" or "ea" as in feel, real, it will be pronounced "fill", "rill", etc. Drives me bonkers and yet I still occassionally slip and do it too!
I've always said Ree-sees, and a few of my friends totally give me sh*t for saying it like that.
1I pronounce it Ree-sees.

4Yeah I don't like the pieces at all. The cups are where it's at. Even better are the Holiday Reese's. More PB to Chocolate ratio.

10Aud, I'm intrigue, these Reeces holiday cups...are they larger than the kind in the candy bar area. You know, the two that come in one package?
11I say Ree-sees, too.
The pieces take me back to the days of ET.. Mmm.

I am not really a fan of the peanut butter cups, and when I tell people that, they act like I tell them that I'm not a fan of puppies or Christmas.
I do love the pieces, though. YUM>
14Ree-sis. I like 'em all, the cups, the pieces, and those cookie candy bar things.
15Ditto Lor. And I prefer the pieces most of the time.
